Claudias Final Installation – private view

Claudia Borgna

Claudia Borgna

It is coming towards the end of Claudia Borgna’s residency here at The Rea Garden. Claudia has been with us throughout this rather cold winter creating temporary pieces of work from her ‘very travelled’ recycled plastic bags. Claudia’s final installation at the site will go on show on Thursday 11th March and will be at the site for a further two weeks. Hopefully anyone who didn’t get an opportunity to pop down and see the work earlier in the residency will be able to make it along before Claudia and her bags head off to The Kew Gardens and then on to Canada.

Join us for the open evening on Thurday 11th March 6 – 9pm

The site will be open daily 11am – 4pm until 28th March 2010.

All welcome.

Project Pigeon is developing well, artists Alex Lockett and Ian England now have their flock of pigeons who have all settled in to their loft. The pigeons are being trained to home back to the space and will be taking part in races soon.

Alex and Ian will be at The Rea Garden each Sunday from 11- 3pm during June until September, where they would love to have visitors down to discuss the project and pigeon keeping.

You will also find an invite to other events they are holding in the garden over the summer, as well as their flickr.
